As ambassadors of our brand, servers ensure guests enjoy the freshest sushi, specialty rolls, and a welcoming atmosphere reflective of Maui’s aloha spirit.

Key Responsibilities

Answer questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary options (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan).

  • Upselling and Recommendations: Suggest pairings such as sake, wine, or our signature lilikoi ice cream to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with hosts, food runners, bussers, and bartenders to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively with sushi chefs regarding order timing and guest preferences.
  • Cleanliness and Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Ensure proper handling of utensils, glassware, and linens.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests professionally, escalating to management when necessary to ensure a positive experience.
